EMINENT horticulturist Dr John Grimshaw will deliver the Northern Garden Lecture at the Richard Whiteley Theatre, Giggleswick, later this month.
His chosen topic is Plants, Gardens, People and the lecture will based on a long and varied career in horticulture and travel influenced by a desire to see plants growing in their native habitats.
In 2012, he took up the post of director at The Yorkshire Arboretum and Rays Wood at Castle Howard and also chairs and sits on various Royal Horticultural Society committees.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 20 at 7pm and tickets costing £10 are on sale from giggleswick.org.uk/rwt or call 01729 893180.
