STUDENTS, staff and governors of Kettlewell Primary School and Upper Wharfedale School joined forces with members of Buckden and Grassington Singers to make a sound and video recording.
The venture was a way of marking and celebrating the formation of The Upper Wharfedale Federation of Schools which came into being in September.
“The enthusiasm of the singers was infectious and it was great to work together as a community,” said Anne Vetch, vice-chairman of the federation, who conducted the group.
And Andrew Taylor, executive headteacher of the federation, who provided the piano accompaniment, added: “This was a great way to formally begin our partnership.
"With so many different age groups participating, this establishes our responsibility for placing both schools at the heart of their communities. I hope this will lead to many more joint ventures, both musical and otherwise.”
