KVU Singers will present Music for Christmas at Skipton's Christ Church next Saturday, December 5.
The singers - who rehearse in Sutton-in-Craven - will give the first North of England performance of Alan Bullard’s A Light in the Stable: a cantata for Christmas.
It tells the Christmas story through a blend of original settings and well-known carols and the audience will be invited to join in for some of the carols.
The evening will also include some choruses from Handel’s Messiah, a traditional favourite of the season, and other Christmas music.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and entry is free with a retiring collection for Christ Church. To reserve seats, call 01535 637425 or 653917.
