THE Folly at Settle will host some festive fun on December 12.

It will hold its popular Yuletide celebrations from 10am to noon when visitors will be able to enjoy warm mince pies and mulled wine in front of a roaring fire.

And local singing group Octameron will serenade guests at 10.30am.

Then, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, families will be able to make lanterns, masks and Christmas cards and the winner of the young visitor competition will be drawn.

The Folly shop will be open for both events, which will provide the last chance to see the magnificent Burton-in-Lonsdale pots on display. It is thought to be the largest collection in Yorkshire.
