THE Met Office has issued a yellow warning of rain later in the week.
It says an active frontal system is expected to become slow-moving across parts of western and northwestern Britain through Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Rain from this is expected to be persistent, and at times, heavy, leading to localised river flooding and also standing water.
And it adds there is a potential of disruption to travel.
