ACCORDION maestro Thom Hardaker will perform at St Thomas's Church in Sutton, this month.
Sutton man Thom, who studied in St Petersburg under a world-renowned accordion tutor, will perform on Wednesday, April 20 at 7.30pm.
His programme will include music by Astor Piazzolla, Phil Cunningham, Bach and Rossini.
Thom began studying accordion as a child with Harry Hinchcliffe, founder of the Craven Accordion Orchestra, at the Craven School of Music in Cross Hills.
He won a place at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire where he spent several years honing his skills with tutor Professor Oleg Sharov.
In 2009, while studying in St Petersburg, Thom took first prize in the final of the city’s Baltic Accordion Festival, and he periodically returned to the UK to perform local concerts, and 2009
