ADDINGHAM Gala organisers are starting their search for the new gala queen and attendants.
The gala and parade will take place on Saturday July 9, and this year's theme is Heroes, Heroines and Villains.
Organisers are looking for a gala queen from school years six to 13, a maid of honour from school years five or six, two flower girls from years one or two, two flower girls from years three or four and two knights from school years one to six.
Applicants must be Addingham residents or attend Addingham Primary School. Application forms and return post boxes are available at Addingham Primary School, Addingham sandwich shop and Addingham Newsagents.
The closing date for applications is Monday, May 16. Any groups wishing to join the parade, people requiring stalls on the field or in the marquee and anyone wishing to place an advert in the programme should email addinghamgala@gmail.com.
