A GROUP of workers from Skipton Building Society’s compliance department gave up a day of their time to help Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway
They helped to spruce up Holywell Halt, painting platform fences, relaying footpaths and tidying up the garden in the grounds.
James Robinson, compliance consultant at Skipton’s head office, said: “We had a fantastic and rewarding day helping Holywell Halt and Embsay Railway.
"It was great to see what a difference our team made in just one day, restoring the grounds and footpaths of this treasured heritage railway.
“We not only enjoyed helping out our local community but working together as a team outside of the office on a completely new challenge. It's something we’ll certainly do again soon.”
