A NEW head boy and three deputies for Skipton's Ermysted's Grammar School have been chosen.
Head boy Michael Plunkett and deputies, Harry Taylor, Matthew Jackson and Jonathan Holland, will assume their roles at the start of the new school year in September.
Headteacher Graham Hamilton thanked all those who put their names forward for the process, which involved initial selection, a presentation and student and staff consultation.
'It was a difficult task as so many of the boys had so many outstanding qualities and may I thank all of those who were willing to put their names forward for consideration and made the title worth the winning," he said.
"These four boys rose above the rest and I am delighted at their success."
