A COWLING man who had cannabis plants growing in his home has been given a conditional discharge from Skipton magistrates.
In an unrelated visit to Andrew Rogerson's home in Keighley Road on March 19, police discovered two containers, one containing a mature plant and the other some immature plants.
Rogerson, 39, admitted producing a class B drug, which he said was for his own use. He further admitted failing to appear at Skipton Magistrates' Court on May 13.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £15. Magistrates ordered a forfeiture and destruction order on the cannabis plants.
