TRAINING camps will be run for cricket-mad youngsters in Silsden and Skipton during the summer holidays.
Pro Coach is running the sessions in conjunction with Yorkshire County Cricket Club to get more children involved in playing cricket.
Spokesman Andy Laws said Pro Coach wanted to build on the success of the cricket club over the past two years.
He said: “We want to maximise opportunities for youngsters to take up the chance of getting into the sport or further developing their skills and passion for the game.
“As Yorkshire’s official coaching partner we sees ourselves responsible for getting kids introduced and hooked on the game with a view to the next generation of Yorkshire and England stars coming out of the coaching we run.”
