SKIPTON Town Council has released details of road closures in the town on Sunday for the filming of a community dance programme.
Dave Parker, chief officer of Skipton Town Council, said the show - due to be aired on BBC2 later in the year - would be great publicity for the town.
“To assist with the filming of the show, the High Street will be closed to traffic from 7am until around 7pm although pedestrians will still be able to access the town centre and shops will be open as normal. Mill Bridge and The Bailey will be closed for short periods a couple of times during the day, but delays will be kept to the absolute minimum – and access to the main town hall car park will also be maintained.”
He added: “The show will be great publicity for the town and for the many community groups in Skipton who are taking part.”
