A LUCKY pup who is the offspring of a famous father was treated to a special private birthday celebration in a party at 'doggy day care home' Barka Lounge in Foulridge.
Boon, a Keeshond whose father Harry was placed first in the 'Best of Breed' category at top dog show Crufts in March, shared doggy treats and played doggy games with a dozen Keeshond chums.
Barka Lounge owner Jill Hirst, who started the business earlier this year, said: "It was great to see them all having such a good time together. They really were enjoying themselves - they had a great time and so did the humans too. Keeshonds are an especially lovely breed and seeing them all playing together was super.
Boon shared his birthday cake and everyone enjoyed a buffet too."
