A driver was assisted from his cab by fire crews and paramedics after a collision between two lorries at Ingleton this morning.
The accident happened near the Texaco garage just after 8.30am.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the driver was uninjured but because of his condition was taken to hospital.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue also attended an incident at about the same time on the A65 at Clapham, where a BMW crashed through a hedge into a ditch. The driver was not present.
