INGLETON swimmers are pumping up their water wings in readiness for this Sunday's It's a Water Knockout at the swimming pool.
Six teams are taking part and the third annual event which kicks off with fun and games from 12.30pm to 4pm.
The day will include a barbecue, children's activities and team games.
It's a Water Knockout has proved popular in the past with participants taking part in fancy dress.
The teams this year are: Craven Wanderers, Teachers' Pets, Craven Heifer, Howsons, The Mermedics and Al's Armbands.
Games include Damsels in Reverse and Supermarket Swim.
The teams will be put through their paces by new games master Stephen Pickup, supported by Becky Taylor and Karen Hayton. Another of the main organisers, Francis Parker, will be assisting with the food and scores, while the judges are Malcolm Lund and Brian Parker.
Everyone is invited to go along to enjoy the day and cheer the teams on. Money raised will go towards the running costs of the swimming pool.
