POLICE are renewing an appeal for information about an assault in which a teenager lost consciousness following a beating in the car park of Skipton's bowling alley.

The 15-year-old victim was at a party at the Matrix, on Sandylands Business Centre, on Sunday, June 17.

He felt unwell and left the party at 12.20am.

As he walked to the car park, at least two males ran at him from behind, punched him to the floor and then kicked him.

He lost consciousness and was taken to Airedale General Hospital where he was detained overnight.

His injuries included loose front teeth, bleeding gums, grazing and swelling to his face, a lump on his head and dizziness.

Police are particularly keen to identify the two suspects.

The first was about 5ft 9in tall and was wearing a pink half sleeved striped shirt and dark jeans.

The second was the same height and wore a cream jumper and dark jeans.
