YOUNGSTERS at Skipton's Water Street School had the chance to get their hands finger-licking sticky when they baked carrot cake from scratch.
The hands-on cookery theatre had been organised by Feast, a networking business which promotes local food and suppliers, and is supported by Skipton Building Society.
The youngsters had the impromptu cookery lesson at the society's headquarters in Skipton. The session had been organised following the success of the cookery theatre at last autumn's Feast event at Skipton Auction Mart.
Feast's Rebecca Roberts talked children through the recipe and allowed them to ice their own cakes. The youngsters then had the chance to ask questions about the demonstration.
