BANCROFT Mill in Barnoldswick will hold a steaming day from 11am to 4pm this Sunday.
People are invited to come and see Lancashire's largest surviving steam mill engine running. The engine will run at intervals between 1pm and 3.45pm.
As part of the event, Bancroft Mill Engine Trust volunteers will welcome a visit by a boiler inspector, who will test the engines safety valves to make sure that they operate correctly.
A Bancroft Mill spokesman said: "This is very exciting as the whole boiler house fills with steam!"
A second steam engine under restoration, a flaming antique boiler, weaving demonstrations and a large collection of model steam engines are other attractions at the historic cotton mill.
Chocolate eggs will be available for children.
There is also a tea room, gift shop, disabled access and free parking.
Dogs are welcome on a lead.
