YOUNG Farmers have celebrated success at the Settle and District rally held at Bentham Auction Mart.
A new competition trophy for 'Member of the Year' has been presented to the area's young farmers by Settle Farmers' Club, and the first winner was Rathmell's Anna Booth.
She gained the most individual points, taking first place in the 'junior dairy' section, and is pictured being presented with the trophy by retiring Farmers' Club chairman Chris Booth.
The winning club was Burton-in-Lonsdale, who took first place in the BOCM Stockjudging Trophy, the Polkinghorne Cup - for most points in intermediates and senior classes - and the NFU Challenge Cup, for most points overall.
Prizes were presented by the district president Adrian Procter and a vote of thanks was given by district chairman Phil Morphet.
