Gardeners in Settle and surrounding areas are busy preparing for their Open Gardens weekend which this year takes place on 24th and 25th June. Twenty-four gardens are opening in and around the Settle area, including eight new ones.
They all vary in size, maturity and planting and for the first time the Settle Folly woodland garden will be opening, in conjunction with its new coffee house.
This is an excellent community event and all money raised will be donated to Settle Swimming Pool. Tickets are now on sale at Settle Tourist Information Centre and Field to Home, both located in the Market Square, at £6 per day or £10 for both days.
Ticket purchases also include a map detailing all garden locations and accompanied children under 16 will be admitted for free.
