AN official Pennine Way beer has gone on sale at the Crown Hotel in Horton-in-Ribblesdale - and anyone who buys a pint will be doing their bit for the national trail.
Pennine Ambler, by Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery, is one of the official ales of the national trail.
And, for every pint or bottle sold, a financial contribution will go towards the maintenance of the Pennine Way, much of which passes through Craven.
Trail manager, Heather Procter said all three specially brewed beers would become more widely available over the summer and were easily recognised by the iconic Pennine Way logo on the pumps in pubs.
