A KITE flying club is due to take place once a week throughout August at Gargrave Village Hall.
Kite making workshops will take place inside the hall, if the weather is wet, and flying will take place on the village's Low Green, if dry and windy.
Organised by the health champions, of Fisher Medical Centre, Skipton, the sessions are aimed at both adults and children, and no previous experience of kite making or flying is necessary.
They will take place between 1pm and 3pm on August 1, August 9, August 15, August 22, and August 29. Kites will be provided, and people will be asked for a £2 donation. For more details, telephone Alan on 07989 441476.
