ANYONE for tennis?
Kildwick CE Primary School pupils were certainly up for it when they attended the prestigious Aegon Ilkley Trophy tournament and took part in training workshops.
Record crowds watched this year's nine-day event, at Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club.
The year-three and four youngsters received top tips on improving their technique, before watching a professional match on the courts.
Class-four teacher, Laura Paxford, said: "The children were able to experience tennis in a way that most had not before.
"It was the first time lots of the pupils had seen a live game of tennis and it was very exciting that they were watching top-class players."
The tournament attracted hundreds of players, including household names such as Laura Robson and Marcus Willis.
Next year, pupils in Key Stage One and reception will receive coaching from Adam Cox, based at Skipton Tennis Club. Funding will be through a sport premium grant.
