YEAR six leavers, at Threshfield Primary School, gave a shining performance of The Nightingale - based on the story by Hans Christian Anderson- and raised £155 for school funds from donations by an impressed audience.
Head teacher, Richard Cook said: "It was fantastic to see our Y5s and 6s shine as they worked together to produce such an outstanding performance.
"It was also brilliant to see the whole of KS2 get involved in making props and stage sets at an after school art club, making for such a memorable performance." The cast of 24 gave performances over two nights.
