POLICE are investigating an incident in which a woman allegedly had a glass smashed over her head outside a Skipton pub.

The incident happened on Saturday November 4, although police have only just released details of it.

It happened in the smoking terrace area of the Black Horse, on High Street at 11pm.

North Yorkhire police say the male offender is alleged to have smashed a glass over a female's head.

Police say the woman was not badly hurt with a bump on the head.

The woman and the alleged attacker were both drinkers in the pub and no arrests have been made at this stage.
