A CONCERT to raise cash for charity Carers Resource is set to take place in Skipton.
The event, at St Andrew's Church in Newmarket Street, is a showcase for local singers, including professional opera singer, mezzo soprano Hannah Mason.
Other featured performers include Robert and Jennifer Webb, ladies' choir The Cobbydale Singers, Sharon Wilson, Phil Friend and a local flute quartet, plus accompanist Charlie Dobson.
Concert organiser Sally Goodman, who is a carer for her husband Steve Hill, who has Alzheimer's, will also sing.
There will be no tickets for the event, on Sunday, April 29, 2.30pm start, with those attending asked to make a donation instead. Tea, coffee and home-made cakes will be provided in the interval, also for a small donation.
