THREE people have been sentenced after a man received serious injuries during a group attack in Skipton.
Liam Millington, 20, and Niall Millington, 18, both of Sharphaw Avenue, Skipton, and a youth who cannot be named for legal reasons appeared before Bradford Crown Court yesterday (Monday).
The court heard they all pleaded guilty to wounding inflicting grievous bodily harm in March in relation to the incident on April 7 last year, during which the victim was punched and hit with a golf club.
In sentencing, the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Jonathan Durham Hall said significant injury had been inflicted on a young man of “good character”.
Liam and Niall Millington were each handed 15 months in a young offender institution, suspended for two years.
The other defendant was given a youth rehabilitation order, with a supervision and programme requirement.
