POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision on the A629 yesterday (Wednesday).

The collision, between two vehicles, happened between Skipton and Kildwick at Cononley Lane End at around 8.15pm.

One of the vehicles, a silver coloured car, was travelling from Kildwick towards Skipton, and collided with a grey coloured vehicle, which was travelling the other way.

Police believe there may have also been a red vehicle was involved in the incident.

Officers are asking anyone who either witnessed the incident or the manner of driving of the vehicles before the collision to contact them with information.

They are also keen to speak to anyone driving in the area around the time of the incident and who has dash cam footage which may help the investigation to contact them.
