TALENTED young musicians at Threshfield Primary School are celebrating after passing their last accordion exams with flying colours.
The six girls and boys, who only started with the accordion in October last year, arrive early every Monday morning for their lessons with Harry Hinchcliffe.
Nine year old Max Scholey said: “When Harry came to do an assembly, I knew I wanted to do what he could do.
His lessons are so much fun. I’m with my friends, playing a really cool instrument and Harry is a really good teacher - It’s worth the early starts.”
The children all prepared for their Level B exam which they all passed with flying colours. Max, Tilly. Will and Connie achieving Gold medals and Izzy and Grace achieving Silver. The children have played in charity events, at the school’s carol service and have entered a competition.
