EMPLOYEES of a company based in Skipton scaled the highest peak in Wales as part of a gruelling two-day hiking challenge in the Snowdonia national park.
The hikers, from Comply Direct, an environmental compliance scheme based on the Broughton Hall estate, took on the task to raise cash for mental health charity Mind, and achieved a total of around £1,500.
The expedition involved the team trailing through rough terrain guided entirely by map and compass.
They covered more than 35 kilometres, and ascended 3,000metres in height over the two days in a bid to scale as many peaks as possible. They also spent a night camping out on the mountain.
The hikers thanked everyone who had contributed to the total for Mind, which aims to support everyone with a mental health problem.
