LANCASHIRE libraries, including those in Barnoldswick and Earby, will take part in the first regional Libraries Connected NW Learn Fest.

The two-week long family-focused festival, which runs from Monday to Monday, September 24, will feature a number of events, workshops and activities.

The festival aims to bring learning to life and will offer opportunities to try something new, develop skills and learn new things.

Events for people of all ages to enjoy will include relax and de-stress sessions, and Be Food Smart.

There is no need to book a place, just turn up.

All of the events, activities and workshops are free.

The festival is being organised by library services across the North West to showcase the range of informal learning opportunities offered in local communities.
