Police accident
RUSH-hour motorists faced tailbacks as the A 59 road near Skipton was closed following a collision between a motorcyclist and a car.
The accident happened at around 4.10pm today, Tuesday, on the Broughton roundabout in the direction of Thornton-in-Craven.
The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not though to be life-threatening. The road was still closed at 5pm.
