TALENTED young performer Tom Seals has taken up a residency as piano vocalist at Alexander’s Bar and Kitchen in Skipton.

The bar, owned by Susannah Daley and her Keighley-based Peel Entertainments Group, is hosting monthly Gin & Jazz nights.

Tom provides the music, fresh from his sell-out performance alongside Jools Holland and receiving praise from singer Jamie Cullum.

Aged 24, Tom has already worked alongside some of biggest names in the music business such as Gregory Porter and Tony Christie.

He last year launched his debut EP, ‘Where I’m At (Live)’, which reached the number one spot in the UK Blues Chart.

Tom, who has been hailed as the “new king of Boogie Woogie”, will perform on the first Tuesday of each month at Alexander’s, in High Street, Skipton.

Alexander’s owner Susannah said: “Securing Tom Seals for our monthly Gin & Jazz nights has been an absolute coup.

“Tom is a musical powerhouse on the piano with a superb voice which has won the most fabulous plaudits from the likes of Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones.

“It won’t be long before he is a household name, so I urge anyone who loves jazz piano to catch Tom live at Alexander’s.”

Alexander’s is described as a stylish European Bar and Kitchen which sells more than 50 varieties of gin alongside an extensive range of gin cocktails.

The venue opened in July 2017 following a £2.5 million investment, winning the Stray FM ‘Best New Business Award 2017’ 12 weeks later.

Alexandra’s offers a year-round programme of live entertainment.
