PATIENTS and staff at Dyneley House Surgery, Skipton, were recognised at the Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group AGM.

The event took place on Thursday 27 September at Central Hall, Keighley.

Emma Taylor who is a social prescriber at the Practice received the ‘Patient Experience’ Award for the difference she makes to patients through accessing the many patient education and self-care activities available through the Practice.

Social prescribing is a means of enabling GPs to refer people to services in their community instead of offering only medical solutions.

Pam Reader and Brian Harrison, both members of the Patient Participation Group at Dyneley House were recognised for their work as practice volunteers.

Antony Radley, Practice Manager said: “We work hard to develop a strong relationship with our patients and work in partnership to support them to make choices that might improve their lifestyle or manage their conditions, so that they can live healthier lives. Emma, Pam and Brian are fantastic examples of what can be achieved when we all work together”.
