THE North Craven Heritage Trust held a special celebration for its members after its AGM in the Settle Victoria Hall last week.
Edward Huddleston gave an overview of the local history of the area from an unusual perspective - as seen from a hot air balloon! Members had a preview of the 60-page celebration booklet which will be released next week.
The 'flying high' theme was continued on special birthday cakes decorated with balloons, cut by Anne Read, who has been a member of the Trust for 45 years and its president for the past three years.
The very happy evening concluded with a toast to the next 50 years of cherishing the past and shaping the future of North Craven.
