SKIPTON’S Ermysted’s Grammar School is inviting applications from families interested in their son transferring to the school during the current academic year.
Following the opening of a new building and an increase to the school’s published admissions number, Ermysted’s has additional capacity for pupils to join Year 8, Year 9 or Year 10 in January.
Applicants will sit three 40-minute admission tests in English, Maths and Science on Wednesday, November 14.
Headteacher Michael Evans said: “We are delighted to be able to offer a number of places at Ermysted’s to those young people who may benefit from the programme we can offer. We work hard to create an environment where every pupil feels valued and supported to achieve their very best – so as well as academic success, we place a strong emphasis on development of character, resilience and self-confidence.”
More details about admissions to Ermysted’s are available at: ermysteds.co.uk/admissions or by calling the school on 01756 792186. The closing date for applications is Monday November 5.
