RAIL passengers are being advised to check before they travel as the final stage of signal upgrding work begins in Bradford at the weekend.
The work is part of the Great North Rail Project and when signalling technology will cease from the line side at Mill Lane, near Bradford Interchange, and operated from York.
The work takes place on Saturday, 20, Sunday, 21 and Monday, 22 October and train services between Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield and other stations in the area are affected.
Bus replacement services are in operation.
Passengers are advised to plan ahead via National Rail Enquiries or with their train operator.
Train services will resume as normal for the start of service on Tuesday, 23 October.
