DALES farmer John Dawson, one of the stars of television’s Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes, is due to give a talk at The Museum of North Craven Life at The Folly, Settle, on Friday, November 9.
John, who farms at Bleak Bank, near Clapham, together with his son, William, has become well known for his appearances on the More 4 programme.His illustrated talk will be on the story of Bleak Bank and the people who have farmed it for the last 100 years.Farming and Family Life will start at 7.30pm.
