TIME is running out for people to enter a popular event in aid of Manorlands.

Participants have just until midnight on November 8 to register for Run Bolton Abbey.

The event, on Sunday November 11, offers a choice of four trail routes around the Bolton Abbey estate – a 10k, ten-miler, half-marathon and a 2.4-mile fun run.

It will start immediately after the two-minute silence for Remembrance Sunday.

Sponsorship is being provided by Midgley Motors.

Entry fees will include free parking at the Bolton Abbey Cavendish Pavillion, chip timing, a bespoke medal and fruit – provided by Keelham Farm Shop – at the finish.

No entries will be accepted on the day.

Prizes for the first male and female finishers on the three longer routes are being supplied by RunRight and Pete Bland Sports, which will both be in attendance on the day alongside Cobble Kitchen and Flipside Crepes, which are serving refreshments.

Molly Ralphson, Sue Ryder community fundraiser at Manorlands in Oxenhope, said: "We have made a few alterations to the routes this year and are certain participants will thoroughly enjoy the exclusive trail access and stunning views."
