A GLITTERY Shetland pony was one of the stars of the show at a Christmas lights switch-on in Ingleton last week.
The miniature pony, named Tiny Tim, stepped into the the line-up at Country Harvest’s annual Christmas event, which featured fairytale characters ‘Snow White, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Elsa’ of the film ‘Frozen’, as well as a performance by the Giggleswick and Settle Brass Band. The pony was taken along by owner Adele Horner, of Ingleton.
The food hall and gift shop held a lights switch-on for the first time last year to coincide with the opening of its Christmas Cabin.
Country Harvest co-owner Mike Clark said: “We invested in a lot more lights to make it even more magical for customers of all ages.
“We even lit our new stag sculpture which was created for us this summer by Lupton sculptor Andrew Kay.”
The shop is also planning free Christmas food tasting event on November 30, 6-8pm.
