Police appeal for information after teen is approached by a van driver in Hellifield
POLICE are appealing for information after a teenager was approached and spoken to inappropriately by a man driving a small white van in Hellifield.
The 16-year-old victim was walking on the pavement next to the A65 / Otterburn Road in Hellifield on the evening of Monday, November 12.
Police say she was left 'extremely shaken' by the incident.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information about it, to get in touch. They are particularly keen to speak to any drivers with an active dash cam who were driving through Hellifield on Monday between 5.10pm and 5.20pm.
