SIR - Can I say a very big thank you to all the kind people who came to my help when I tripped and fell over a very dangerously raised paving flag outside the Phase Eight shop in Skipton on the afternoon of Thursday, November 15. One gentleman even rang for an ambulance - which thankfully I decided I didn't really need. I am happy to report that even though I banged my head very hard on a metal lamp post I have had no lasting ill effects. Thank you to you all.
