THE Craven Arms and Cruck Barn in Appletreewick is celebrating after being named 'Best Yorkshire Pub' in a magazine's annual awards.
The pub - which earlier this year featured on television's Britain by Bike with Larry and George Lamb - made the shortlist after a public vote.
Judges then visited all the shortlisted pubs incognito and marking them on overall experience.
At the awards ceremony, held in Harrogate, the pub was praised for its atmosphere and welcome, the knowledgeable bar staff, the overall level of service and the quality and choice of the meals provided.
