WITH Grassington's Dickensian Festival about to take place, schoolchildren have been busy creating pictures for a 2019 calender.
Children from Burnsall, Grassington, Threshfield and Kettlewell schools took part in the art competition to create the 2019 festival calender.
There were almost a hundred entries, from which Craven artist, Rob Keep selected the best 12.
The children, from four to ten years old, will be treated to a ride in Santa's reindeer drawn sleigh during this year's festival, as well as seeing their pictures in the calender.
The Grassington Dickensian 2019 calendar, priced £5, is available now from the Grassington Hub, Grassington Post Office and the Flower Loft. Profits will be shared between the schools and the festival towards the ongoing costs of staging the community event.
The festival will take place over the first two weekends in December. There will be live entertainment throughout, and people are encouraged to wear Victorian dress.
