St Andrews Church, Gargrave
CHAMBER choir Pinsuti will celebrate the start of advent with a concert on Saturday at St Andrew's Church, Gargrave.
Sleepers Wake! From Bach to Blues will be an evening of advent and Christmas music.
It will include Bach’s dramatic “Wachet Auf” a range of carols for both choir and congregation, and some dazzling American carols which listeners may not have heard before.
The evening is designed to be enjoyable and fun, and will include Pinsuti’s traditional unaccompanied singing as well as music accompanied by piano and organ.
The concert will start at 7.30pm, tickets £6 on the door, and free for under16s.
