INFORMATION is being sought after a bronze statue of a naked lady was stolen from a house in Gargrave.
North Yorkshire Police said the theft occurred on Thursday, November 29, at a property in South Street.
Offenders have entered the house and taken the three-and-a-half foot bronze sometime after 12.30pm.
A spokesman for the police said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone seen in the area at the time of the incident, or for anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch. This may include a vehicle that had a bronze statue in.
