NG Bailey, one of the UK’s leading independent engineering and services businesses, has opened a new flagship office in the capital.

The Ilkley-headquartered business has chosen the BREEAM Excellent rated 20 Farringdon Street as its new base in London. The company will be occupying two floors of the 11-storey building.

The new London base has flexible desks, 'touch down' and huddle space and meeting rooms. Breakout booth seating and a designated ‘quiet’ room will also be on offer to NG Bailey’s employees.

NG Bailey worked with architectural designer The Workspace Consultants LLP and fit out specialists Maris Interiors LLP to finish both floors. Its aim was achieved by incorporating the latest technologies provided by technology specialist Vanti.

Peter Jones, managing director of services at NG Bailey, said: “This signals a great step forward for our business, moving to a new state-of-the-art office space which offers a first-class working environment and enables a more agile way of working for our London-based colleagues.

“We have worked hard to ensure the whole look and feel of our new office really creates an inspiring and innovative atmosphere, as well as nurturing a culture of collaborative working for our employees and visitors.

“Our new office will help us to continue to develop our presence in London, as well as support the future growth of the business.”

The Farringdon Street site forms part of international developer HB Reavis’ real estate portfolio. NG Bailey was previously located at the Angel Building, St John Street, London.
