HSBC Bank’s chief economist Mark Berrisford-Smith spoke about ‘the shifting sands of Brexit’ to business leaders at Broughton Hall, Skipton.
The event, hosted by Skipton firm Armstrong Watson Accountants, law firm Gordons and HSBC, brought together 40 business leaders from across the region.
Mr Berrisford-Smith is responsible for advising the bank in the UK and its business customers on developments in both British and global economies, and more recently has undertaken an intensive programme of speaking on the possible issues arising from Brexit.
He offered suggestions in specific relation to how changes might affect the businesses represented in the room.
