Jazz duo Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer
HIGHLY regarded Edinburgh-based jazz duo Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer will be in concert in in Burton-in-Lonsdale Village Hall on Saturday, February 9.
The saxophonist and pianist are playing as part of their ‘Jazz in the Village’ series of concerts across the country.
Ian and Dominic have been performing together for a number of years, playing melodic improvisations on jazz standards and original compositions.
Their style of jazz concentrates on developing melodic ideas within the framework of the melody of a tune, whilst maintaining the concept and ‘groove’ behind it.
Tickets at £10 are available from the village shop or on the door.
