CITIZENS advice will no longer operate drop in sessions from St Andrew’s Church, Skipton, from the start of next month.

Beginning on Friday, February 1, they will instead take place at the Dyneley Barn, Newmarket Street, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. There will also be Monday morning sessions at Settle Health Centre and at South Craven Library, Cross Hills, on Monday afternoons.

People will also be able to access advice and information via a Citizen Advice dedicated phone line (01756 457 222) which will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 10am and 4pm; and by using the service website.

Edward Pickering, chief executive of Citizens Advice Craven and Harrogate Districts said, “As a local charity we need to ensure that we can continue to help the people of Craven and this new way of working enables us to ensure that we have a sustainable base to continue the services we deliver to the residents of Craven for the foreseeable future.” Drop in sessions until the end of the month are at St Andrew’s Church Hall on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
